The Nikon EN-EL15C is a high-capacity rechargeable battery. Versatility is ensured with this battery which is backwards compatible with cameras that use the Nikon EN-EL15, 15a and 15b battery. Similarly, due to the familiar design, the battery can also be charged using the Nikon MH-25a battery charger. This battery can also be charged in-camera via USB-C on supported Nikon camera models, such as the Nikon Z5.
